Applesauce with Farmerboys


  • 1.5 kilos of fresh tasty apples
  • 100 ml of water
  • 75 grams of sugar
  • 10 grams Van Wees Apple brandy esprit
  • 10 grams Van Wees Cinnamon esprit
  • 3 tablespoons Van Wees Farmerboys.


Peel and core the apples. Cook the apples with the water and both esprits to boil without stirring. Let the apples simmer over low heat until they are soft. Finally add the Farmerboys and sugar and stir well.

Tip: Try the same recipe with finely chopped Farmergirls (apricots) instead of Farmerboys.
