Distilled of oranges, cloves, almonds, nutmeg and cinnamon. The liquor is refined with pure silver-leaves symbolising the tears of grieve and happiness.
It was drank on marriages. Clever women poor ‘bruidstranen’ to their husbands on their wedding-anniversary, or whenever they feel the need to remember him to their wedding-day and wedding-promises.
