Van Wees Mojito


  • 45 ml Bali Rum
  • 3 ml. Menthe Glaciale Esprit
  • 8 fresh leaves of mint
  • 25 ml lime juice
  • 30 grams cane sugar (or brown caster sugar)
  • soda water as desired.


Crush 5 mint leaves. Dissolve the sugar in the lime juice (heat slightly if necessary) and add to the crushed mint. Add the rum and the mint esprit. Mix everything together well. Fill a cocktail glass or long drink glass with crushed ice. Pour the rum mixture through a tea strainer and top up with water. Garnish with a lime wedge and the remaining mint leaves. Drink Tasty!

Tip: instead of the Mint Esprit try Lavender Esprit, the effect is delicious!
